Gas prices jumping to $4.35 in Dayton area: Here’s where to find the cheapest

Gas prices are skyrocketing across the Miami Valley. Some areas have seen a jump to $4.35 per gallon of regular unleaded gas this afternoon.

GasBuddy.com is reporting the price jump at stations in West Carrollton, Huber Heights, Dayton, Troy, Beavercreek, Kettering and many other stations in the region.

The rise comes as the Ohio average for a regular gallon of gas is approaching a new record. Currently, the most recent average for a gallon of gas in Ohio is $4.09 per gallon and the all-time record was set in May 2011, when gas was selling for an average of $4.15 per gallon, according to AAA.
