Gas in Valley 84 cents cheaper than last year

Mar. 22—Gas prices in the Valley dropped an average of 8 cents in a week to $3.56 a gallon. Last year on this date the price was $4.40 a gallon, according to the latest AAA Pa. East Central Gas Price report released on Tuesday.

By municipality the average price of gas this week in the Valley is as follows: Elysburg, $3.66; Lewisburg, $3.37; Mifflinburg: $3.55; Milton, $3.74; Mount Carmel, $3.60; Selinsgrove, $3.68; Shamokin, $3.47; and Sunbury, $3.44.
