Gate City advances to the Mountain District finals

Gate City, VA — On the prep court Gate City squared off against Wise Central in the district tournament for the Mountain region. Devil’s starts off with Landen McDonald passing off to Eli McMurray who swishes a three. Because of that the game stops because that was his 1000th career point. congrats to you McMurray.

Starting back, the Warrior’s Ethan Collier passes the ball to Landen Horne who goes in for the lay-in. Later, Luke Collie will attempt that trick again and goes in for another Warriors lay-in. However it was nothing but Devils as Kaden Houseright drives in under the net before dishing to McMurray in the corner and he delivers the 3pter.

Gate City wins 51-42 and will face Union in the next round.
