Welcome to a humpday edition of Gators News and on today’s agenda, we have the men’s golf team who wrapped up its fall season on the links at the Isleworth Collegiate while the gymnastics team announced its schedule for 2022. It is a short update today — here is the latest news from around the Gator Nation.

Men's golf

The men’s golf team battled back from a 10th place opening round and a 9th place start yesterday to finish competition at the Isleworth Collegiate in Windermere, Florida, in 5th place after a furious final round of play. The Gators shot a combined 6-under (282) for its best round of the tournament and second-lowest of the fall. Men’s golf goes into hibernation until Jan. 31, 2022, when it opens the spring season at the Sea Best Invitational.

Gymnastics

The gymnastics team released its 2022 schedule on Tuesday, with the season opening up on Jan. 7 with a quad meet featuring Northern Illinois, Rutgers and Texas Woman’s University in the O’Connell Center. Their first away game comes on Jan. 21 when they travel to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens.
