Gators News: Volleyball falls on the road vs. FSU

College football game day is rapidly approaching as the week continues to wane down and on this Thursday there is just one sport to report on. The volleyball team traveled to Tallahassee yesterday and unfortunately came away empty-handed for the third-straight game while there has been no shortage of news surrounding the pigskin crew. Buckle up, Gators fans, things are about to get wild in Gainesville this weekend.

Volleyball

The No. 14 volleyball team fell in four sets on the road to the unranked Florida State Seminoles on Wednesday night, dropping the final three after taking the opening frame. The loss is the Gators' third in a row and drops their season record to 4-4. The squad's next outing comes on Saturday when it opens up a two-match series with the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at home with first serve slated for 12 p.m. EDT.
