GC Girls Powerlifting: CHS' Laikahs Kelly wins state title, Lady Tigers have big day at state meet

Mar. 19—FRISCO — Corsicana's Laikahs Kelly took home a state title Saturday at the Comerica Center in Frisco, where she finished No. 1 in the 259-pound weight class in the 5A DII girls state powerlifting meet.

The Corsicana girls had a big day at the state meet. Kelly took home a state title, Leslee Jones took home fifth in the 259-pound weight class and Sarah Lopez competed in the 154-pound weight class.
