Gearheads rejoice: 49th annual Turkey Run revs up at Daytona Beach

It’s heaven for gearheads this weekend at Daytona International Speedway, where the annual Fall Turkey Run is showcasing thousands of collectible cars and virtually every imaginable accessory to adorn them. This year’s edition, the 49th annual, unfolds through Sunday in the Speedway’s massive infield.

The main attraction, of course, is the more than 5,000 classic vehicles on display at the event’s car show in the eastern portion of the Speedway infield. In addition, another 1,500 collectible vehicles will be showcased for sale or trade in the event’s Car Corral. More than 1,500 vendors will be selling parts or accessories in the event’s daily swap meet.

Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. through Saturday; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. Admission at the gate is $20 daily through Saturday; $15 on Sunday.  Ages 11 and under are free. Visit turkeyrun.com for details.
