Geauga County Public Library hosting mini-golf course event at Bainbridge Branch

Feb. 19—It's time to grab a putter and the best golf attire for a round of mini-golf at the "Geauga County Public Library Links."

People can join fellow library patrons and staff members for a round of indoor mini-golf at the Bainbridge Branch, 17222 Snyder Road, where the entire building is converted into an 18-hole mini-golf course, according to a news release.

Geauga County Public Library and the Geauga County Library Foundation also announced that they have expanded the annual family mini-golf event to include an adult-only mini-golf night, complete with adult beverages and mini-golf-based contests.

The Adult Mini-Golf at the Library will take place 6 to 9 p.m., March 18, at the Bainbridge Branch. Cost is either $25 general admission, which includes two drink tickets, appetizers, music and a round of mini-golf; or $45 for clubhouse admission, which includes four drink tickets, appetizers, music, a round of mini-golf and access to exclusive Clubhouse activities.

Then, the Family Mini-Golf at the Library will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 19. Cost is $5 and includes free family entertainment, face painting, a chance raffle, a balloon artist, a round of mini-golf and access to the library's book sale.

The foundation, in partnership with the library, looks to use the money received over the course of the two-day event to fund youth, teen and adult programs throughout the remainder of the year, as well as the Dolly Parton Imagination Library initiative, which promotes a love for reading at a critical stage in a child's development, the release stated.
