'Scream' fans rejoice as movie leads join Shreveport's Geek'd Con lineup

North Louisiana's premier comic book and pop culture convention Geek'd Con is returning to the Shreveport Convention Center August 19 -21.

Known as the con "for local geeks by local geeks," it has become the biggest pop culture event in the Ark-La-Tex and is one of the largest in the state of Louisiana.

This year's lineup boasts big names like "Scooby-Doo" star Matthew Lillard along with his "Scream" co-star Skeet Ulrich. Also in attendance will be Clint Howard, Steve Agee, Cooper Andrews, Pollyanna McIntosh and more.

Geek'd Con will be Friday, August 19 from 6 - 9 p.m. Saturday, August 20 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 21 from11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
