Gemma Arterton's stylish new crime series gets Disney+ release date
Gemma Arterton's new crime drama Culprits has landed a Disney+ release date.
The series will premiere tomorrow (October 7) at the BFI London Film Festival before landing on the streaming site on Wednesday, November 8 – with all eight episodes available to watch at once.
Starring Atherton and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits, Candyman), Culprits is a crime thriller series focusing on what happens in the aftermath of a crime.
Following a "high-stakes" heist, a group of ex-criminals attempt to start over, however the group struggle to put their past behind them after they are each picked off by an assassin.

"Culprits kicks off where most crime stories end: after a high-stakes heist, when the crew of elite criminals have gone their separate ways and have tried to leave their old lives behind," the official logline for the show reads.
"Past and present collide when a ruthless assassin starts targeting them one by one. Why are they being stalked, who is behind the mayhem, and will they be able to find one another in time to protect themselves and the people they love?"
Stewart-Jarrett stars as the series protagonist Joe, while Atherton's character is called Dianne, with further character details to be announced.

Culprits has been created and directed by J Blakeson (I Care A Lot), with Blakeson and Stephen Garrett (The Night Manager) handling executive producing and Killing Eve's Morenike Williams producing.
While Niamh Algar (Raised By Wolves), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Cruella, Killing Eve), Ned Dennehy (Good Omens), Kamel El Basha (The Insult), Tara Abboud, Kevin Vidal (Strays) and Eddie Izzard round out the ensemble cast.
Culprits will premiere on Wednesday, November 8 on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland.
