Gen Z’s concerns about the future
Recent surveys highlight the growing anxieties younger Americans feel about their lives and their concerns for the future.
The findings: In a survey published yesterday, only one-third of teens said things were “going well” for people their age, and less than half believe they’ll be better off than their parents as they get older. [New York Times]
A potential trend: In a report from last week, 58% of Gen Z adults agreed that the country’s big problems wouldn’t be solved “until the older generation no longer holds power.” [CNN]
The bigger picture: Young voters may be less likely to vote in the 2024 election compared to 2020, according to a poll last month where only 49% said they'd “definitely” participate this year. [The Hill]

3 QUESTIONS
...about the Vanderpump Rules premiere
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. My Yahoo Entertainment colleague Taryn Ryder breaks down what to expect.
Lily: Where does Season 11 pick back up after Scandoval?
Taryn: Filming began in June, weeks after the explosive reunion aired. Tom Sandoval was alone on a proverbial island. The world was Team Ariana.
Lily: What can we expect to see from Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix and the rest of the cast?
Taryn: The exes filmed together over the summer, so they’ll come face-to-face at some point. Things don’t seem amicable. Meanwhile, Rachel (formerly Raquel) Leviss decided not to return.
Lily: What’s another juicy storyline to look for?
Taryn: The trailer teased that Scheana and Tom Schwartz made out. When? Where? Who knew? This is shocking, even if it was several years ago.

Have an incredible day. See you tomorrow!
