Kiss Under the Weather

A Kiss concert in Salt Lake City at the USANA Amphitheater was postponed because Gene Simmons, 70, said he was scheduled to undergo a "medical procedure."

Fans got the news about the Saturday concert in a tweet from Simmons on Friday night.

Simmons Says It Was No Big Deal

Simmons wanted to reassure the fans that the postponement was not due to anything serious.

"Apologies to the fans in Salt Lake City. We will come back and do the show at a later date. The truth is, I have to fly to LA to do a medical procedure. Nothing serious. But it must be taken care of now. Thank you for your good wishes. All is well."

He Can't Rock and Roll All Night -- At Least Currently

On Sunday, Simmons tweeted a picture of him convalescing in bed with his dog, saying, "My constant companion..and guard dog. All 1 and 1/2 pounds of her."

"Hope U are Good, GOT!! U were INCREDIBLE last Night In Denver-!!!!!" said @ssikfandk.

Others were a little more sly in their get-well wishes.

The End Of the Road Still a Ways Away

Kiss, who these days is Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, is on their "End Of the Road World Tour," which is supposed to be the band's last tour. They announced the news last September.

"All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years," they said in a statement.
