Geneseo Schools welcome new teachers to the fold

New staff members in the Geneseo School District were recognized Aug. 12 at a luncheon at Grace United Methodist Church. The 2022 luncheon was the 42nd year for the church to host new teachers and administrators to the district.

Grace Church member Jean Hahn welcomed the new staff, current administration, school board members, and educators who attend Grace Church. Geneseo School Superintendent Dr. Adam Brumbaugh also spoke.

The new staff members include:

  • ELEMENTARY: Kinze Dillbeck, third grade, Millikin School; Maria Gehl, second grade, Northside; Melanie Graff, third grade, Northside; Jacqueline Kelly, fourth grade, Southwest; Jacelyn Mannon, kindergarten, Northside, and Trenton Teske, vocal music, Northside.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOL: – Christy Herlyn, sixth grade ELA, and Javier Reyes, sixth grade Spanish.

  • HIGH SCHOOL: – Brianna Bivens, science; Renee Lock, agriculture; Katy Taylor, guidance counselor; and Elizabeth Hulsbrink, English.

  • HENRY/STARK: Sheila Puls, Audrey Scheider, Megan Verstraete, Margaret Wendell, Kelly Lawrence, Samantha Mathew; Korie Morrison and Kayla Schubert.
