Liz Gresian is The Providence Journal Girls Basketball Player of the Week

Liz Gresian came through when the Wizards needed her most in the Division II championship against Moses Brown.

Gresian scored all the points in a crucial 9-0 run in the third quarter that gave West Warwick the lead for good — netting 19 of her 21 points in the second half. For good measure, she also had 10 steals and three assists in the D-II title win.
