Geology Rocks! with Cobb Natural Resources

Jun. 24—The North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway in Kennesaw, will have Geology Rocks! with Cobb Natural Resources for ages 5 and up on July 6 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Participants can join Kevin Hill from the Cobb County Department of Natural Resources who will have a variety of rocks and minerals for kids to examine. There will be a discussion on the different types of rocks, how they are formed, some uses of rocks and minerals in daily life and a look at some fossils. Afterward participants can do some rock painting. No registration required.
