George Daily Auditorium 2021-22 season kicks off

Oct. 4—OSKALOOSA — For almost two years, the stage at George Daily Auditorium stood empty. Now, the lights are back on action is returning with Fly Dance Company's Oct. 13 performance.

The dance company's take to the stage, which was set to be the final performance of the season, was postponed indefinitely in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 18 months later, they will be opening the auditorium's 25th season instead.

The Houston-based troupe has a theatrical hip-hop performance style and puts on an energetic show for audiences around the world.

The show will start at 7 p.m.. Admission is $24 for adults and $10 for students.

The second event of the season will be a show by Tusk — The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience. The Nov. 11 show will consist of five musicians recreating the classic works of Fleetwood Mac.

Missoula Children's Theatre will take the stage for the new year with performances at 3 and 7 p.m. Jan. 22, 2022.

Sixty Oskaloosa kids ages 5-18 will have the opportunity to star in The Snow Queen.

Auditions will be at 4 and 6 p.m. Jan. 17, 2022.

Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for students.

Schoolhouse Rock will follow in February with a 7 p.m. show on Monday, Feb. 7.

The classic cartoons will be brought to life on the stage, offering an educational and entertaining evening for people of all ages.

Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for students.

The final show of the season will be The Everly Set: A celebration of the Everly Brothers.

The 7 p.m. show on March 23, 2022 will take listeners back to 1957 when the Everly Brothers made their mark on rock 'n' roll.

For those looking forward to any or all of the shows, season tickets are available for $90. They include admission to all five shows in the 20212-22 season. Season ticket holders also have first choice in seating.

No matter age or interests, the 2021-22 season at George Daily Auditorium is sure to have something for everybody.
