Georgetown police are asking for help locating a 16-year-old girl reported as a runaway by her parents.

Ava Zandra Harris has been missing from her Georgetown home since July 30, police said. "Ava’s parents report they have not heard from her and are concerned because she did not take her medications with her," according to a police news release.

Police received information that she was seen Monday at a Jack in the Box restaurant at 1936 E. Oltorf St. in Southeast Austin, the release said.

Ava is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has green eyes and short brown hair but frequently wears a long, brown wig with blonde highlights, police said. She will say that she is 18 when asked her age, according to police.
