Georgette Jones performs to full crowd at Mitchell Opera House

Georgette Jones performs at the Mitchell Opera House Saturday evening. Jones is the daughter of country music stars George Jones, and Tammy Wynette. Jones recorded her first song at age 10, a duet with her father called "Daddy Come Home." This was her second appearance at the Opera House, and a packed house enjoyed the show. Jones is pictured performing the George Jones classic "The Race is On." Jones explained this was the first song she ever learned (at age 6.) The Mitchell Opera House will host a Dance Contest featuring fathers and daughters and mothers and sons on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. For more information, log onto mitchelloperahouse.com
