“We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance,” XFINITY Theatre wrote in a statement.

Aldean posted a video update on Sunday saying that he believes it was a combination of dehydration and heat exhaustion and that he played golf earlier in the day.

“I’ve had a lot of people checking in on me today after hearing about what happened last night at the show in Connecticut,” Aldean said. “I just want to let you know thanks to everyone who’s calling and checking, I’m doing fine.”

Aldean said it didn’t think his heat illness was “quite that serious” as a heat stroke, but added that the weather was intense for him and those in attendance.

“I knew it was coming and I tried to get through the show as much as I could,” Aldean said. “It wasn’t the way I wanted the show to end.”

Aldean said he had a few IVs to help with the dehydration and went ahead with his Sunday night performance in Saratoga Springs. Aldean said he is working to reschedule the date for the Hartford show.

The “Highway Desperado” tour will come to Atlanta on August 5 at Lakewood Amphitheatre.

Thanks everyone for checking in on me. Hartford, we’ll share rescheduled info soon. Saratoga Springs, see ya tonite!🤘🏼
