This Georgia country star is playing in Macon again. Here’s how to buy tickets

Country star Travis Tritt, known for hit singles like “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive” and his seven platinum albums, is coming to Macon this summer at the Macon Centreplex, the venue announced Tuesday.

Tritt will play at the Macon City Auditorium July 21 at 7:30 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Macon Centreplex. Tritt first played at the venue in November of 2021.

“See you in July!” Tritt told fans in a Facebook comment on the Macon Centreplex post. The singer, a Georgia native, had several hit country songs in the 1990s and 2000s. He has nearly 3.5 million Spotify listeners and two Grammy awards.

Tritt’s Macon concert comes as part of his 2023 band tour that also visits Athens, Augusta and Hiawasee in Georgia. Tritt also joined fellow country star Eric Church’s Summer 2023 tour as a guest musician.

Tickets for the July concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., though there is some presale available Wednesday for platinum tickets and artist presale. The tickets can be purchased online via Ticketmaster.

Tritt’s show highlights a list of big-name artists playing in Macon this summer that includes The Beach Boys, The Doobie Brothers and Boyz II Men.
