Georgia fans troll Alabama basketball with 'Just like football' chant as clock runs out

Alabama basketball fell at Georgia on Tuesday, 82-76, and Bulldog fans trolled the team with a "Just like football" chant.

The chants started with around 17 seconds left in the game.

Earlier this month the Bulldogs beat Alabama 33-18 to win the College Football Playoff championship in Indianapolis, following an SEC Championship win for the Crimson Tide.

Jaden Shackelford had a game-high 20 points while Keon Ellis added 15 points and nine rebounds for Alabama. Noah Gurley added 11 points with six rebounds.

The victory was Georgia's first in SEC play this season, while Alabama fell to 4-4 in conference play.

The Crimson Tide (13-7) will take on defending national champion Baylor, ranked No. 4, on Saturday at Coleman Coliseum (ESPN, 3 p.m. CT) as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The game marks the first of three consecutive matchups for Alabama versus ranked teams.
