Georgia football players donned full pads on Tuesday for their fourth spring practice.

That meant collisions right away were on display during a media viewing period of some 15 minutes.

Safety Malaki Starks and cornerback Kamari Lassiter tag-teamed on wide receiver Arian Smith at one point in a drill designed to get to the ball carrier.

Watching and wearing newly issued Georgia gear was former Clemson offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter. He was added to the offensive support staff.

Also on the sideline with a mug in hand (not Waffle House this time) was former Georgia Tech coach Geoff Collins. He was on staff at Alabama when Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart was there in 2007.

Here are some other observations on a day with temperatures in the lower 60s, mostly cloudy skies and wind blowing:

--Tray Scott was putting his defensive line through the paces using blocking dummies.

Two of Georgia’s early enrollees are in the group: Jordan Hall (6foot-4, 310) and Jamaal Jarrett (6-5 and 350_.

“I need a quick rep, Jah!” Smart said on his handheld mic referring to Jarrett’s nickname.

--Outside linebackers coach Chidrea Uzo-Diribe wanted more out of freshman Sam M’Pemba, telling him his rep might have been good at IMG Academy where he signed out of but not for Georgia.

--Here’s how the starting offensive line looked from left to right: Austin Blaske, Xavier Truss, Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, Tate Ratledge and Amarius Mims. Blaske and redshirt freshman Earnest Greene are competing for the left tackle job.

--Brock Bowers still looks the part of an All-American tight end. Bowers was catching short passes from Carson Beck and Oscar Delp from Brock Vandagriff. Gunner Stockton connected with true freshman Lawson Luckie.

--Freshman Anthony Evans hauled in a pass from Stockton in a QB/receiver drill. Freshman Tyler Williams, who goes 6-3 and 205 pounds, made a leaping grab. The only drop seen during the last portion of the viewing period came from sophomore Dillon Bell.
