They said it

Georgia Southern head coach Clay Helton on his team's 34-23 win over Ball State last Saturday, and the next opponent:

"I thought (our players) really played like a mature football team down the stretch. It's really good to see. Four games into the season, we've learned a lot of valuable lessons. Now we take those lessons to conference play against a really good Coastal Carolina team that's probably playing as good a football as anybody in our league right now."

Coastal Carolina head coach Jamey Chadwell:

"We've got a team (Georgia Southern) coming in that's playing with a lot of confidence, playing really well in all three phases, that has improved tremendously. Coach (Clay) Helton has done a fantastic job with their team there and the way they're playing. We've got our work cut out for us if we're going to find a way to be 2-0" in the Sun Belt.
