Todd Bradley-Glenn has been through a lot in his Georgia Southern career. Unfortunately, he may have another injury to deal with.

Bradley-Glenn, a linebacker, is in his seventh season with the Eagles, having been through a rare form of skin cancer, a torn biceps and several knee surgeries.

On Saturday, Bradley-Glenn went down injured in the third quarter of Georgia Southern's game against Alabama Birmingham with an apparent arm injury and was carted off. After the game, head coach Clay Helton said on the Georgia Southern Sports Network that the player appeared to have a dislocated elbow and would get an MRI.

Here's what to know about the Eagles' veteran.

Todd Bradley-Glenn is a cancer survivor

Prior to his senior season at Valdosta High School in 2015, Bradley-Glenn went through what he thought was a routine surgery to remove scar tissue on his right shoulder. But doctors had bad news.

They told him that he had developed an incredibly rare form of skin cancer: Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. This is a type of soft tissue sarcoma, which are cancers that affect skin, fat and muscle tissues.

Driven by the desire to play his senior year of high school and college football beyond that, Bradley-Glenn underwent three more surgeries to have the cancer removed and missed the first six games of his final season with the Wildcats. But he returned to help Valdosta reach the second round of the state playoffs.

Bradley-Glenn missed the 2021 season with an biceps tear

In 2021, Bradley-Glenn got hurt in the Eagles' first preseason scrimmage of the fall, ending up with a biceps tear. He would miss the full season. But his coach at the time knew even with the injury, the linebacker would be a big part of the team.

"Todd's mindset is to be a huge leader for us off the field," said the Eagles' head coach in 2021, Chad Lunsford. "He's been kind of snakebit with injuries throughout his career, but he is a mentally tough dude. I know he's still going to add value to us.

"I love him. I hate it for him because he's worked so hard to get himself here. But I know he still will have a very, very, very important role with us on our team."

Bradley-Glenn also has missed time over his career with knee injuries.

Todd Bradley-Glenn owns a construction company

Bradley-Glenn, now in his seventh season as a Georgia Southern football player, already has one bachelor's degree in marketing. He's now working on his second in construction management.

There's a good reason: He's the owner of the Bradley-Glenn Construction Company.

Bradley-Glenn had made a 2019 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.
