Georgia State Patrol investigating incident where man struck by tractor trailer
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a traffic accident in Spalding County which left one man injured.
According to a release by the Griffin Police Department, early Tuesday morning, officers were called to North Expressway after receiving report of someone being struck by a vehicle.
Police said they found a man who was struck by a tractor-trailer around 4 a.m.

Due to his injuries, police said the victim was flown to a nearby trauma center for medical treatment and the accident investigation was turned over to GSP.
There are no further patient updates at this time.
The victim’s identity was withheld by law enforcement, pending notification of his family.
