Sporting News: Georgia 33, Ohio State 28

Bill Bender writes: "The Buckeyes are in a rare underdog role, and that makes them dangerous against the Bulldogs. Georgia is 4-0 ATS when favored by 20 points or less, and they are going to hit the Buckeyes with a rushing attack that averaged 207 yards per game. Quarterback Stetson Bennett also hasn't been sacked in his last six games. C.J. Stroud, however, will have success on the perimeter with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. The Buckeyes will push the Bulldogs to the limit, but Georgia comes up with the stop in crunch time."

Bookies.com: Take Ohio State with the points vs. Georgia

Dan Kilbridge writes: "We can’t wait to see how these coaches scheme it up in what’s really a dream matchup for college football betting fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. We’re expecting a close fight all the way and would be stunned by a blowout on either side."

Clutch Points: Ohio State will upset Georgia

Jonathan Alfano writes: "Ohio State is one of the few college football teams that can match Georgia in terms of talent. The Bulldogs just surrendered 30 points and over 500 passing yards against LSU in the SEC Championship, and a repeat performance could spell trouble. If C.J. Stroud and the Buckeyes receivers can exploit that secondary, they will be in great shape. Georgia is still an incredibly tough team to beat and will not go down easily. However, Ohio State may have the right combination of talent and scheme to pull off the upset."

ESPN: Georgia 38, Ohio State 28

Adam Rittenberg writes: "Ohio State has new life after the Michigan loss, and it’s notable that the Buckeyes’ only CFP championship came in a season (2014) where they were largely counted out because of injuries. Still, Georgia seems like a better version of Michigan, which repeatedly gashed the Buckeyes for long touchdowns. Ohio State starts quickly with a long touchdown pass to Marvin Harrison Jr., but Bennett and the Dawgs take control down the stretch and advance to the national title game."

College Football News: Ohio Stte 34, Georgia 30

Pete Fiutak writes: "Who’s the one team in college football that can hang player for player with Georgia? It’s not Alabama. Not this year. It’s Ohio State if it gets enough healthy parts back. This is where not playing in the Big Ten Championship really matters – the extra time gives this wounded team that much more of a chance to heal. Of course, Georgia is Georgia. The lines could take over right away and pound the Buckeyes into submission like Michigan did, but … You let 2014 Ohio State and 2017 Alabama in as a 4 seed. You don’t give teams this talented an extra chance."

FanDuel: Georgia 27, Ohio State 20

Adam Taylor McKillop writes: "This matchup features a pair of powerhouse teams, but ones that play very different styles of football. Georgia is looking to defend their national title from a year ago and ranks second in the country in terms of points allowed at an outstanding 12.77 per game. Georgia also ranks ninth in yards allowed. Michigan and their top-10 defense showed what a stalwart defensive front can do to the Buckeyes’ offense. Stroud ended up tossing 349 yards but threw to costly interceptions in the defeat. That proves the difference."
