(SOUNDBITE) (English) 10-YEAR-OLD CLIMBER FROM GERMANY, ZOZO, SAYING:"Hello. We are the climbing kids. We are here in Glasgow at the climate summit. Humanity is failing. We are failing to accept the reality of the climate crisis. We are racing towards a wall and our politicians are celebrating that they want to break behind the wall."

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Date: November 1, 2021

Zozo and her brother Kiwi abseiled off a bridge in Glasgow

calling on leaders meeting at the COP26 climate summit

to stick to their climate promises

(SOUNDBITE) (English) 12-YEAR-OLD CLIMBER FROM GERMANY, KIWI, SAYING:"The IPCC reports are brutal. The global CO2 budget for 1.5 degrees will be used up in a few years. And after 1.5 degrees, a cascade of tipping points will be triggered and there is no way to stop it. We'll end up with two, three or four degrees. Millions and millions of people will die, billions will lose their homes or won't be able to feed their families."
