New German grocery store opening soon in Dauphin County

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A popular German discount grocery store is inching closer to its official opening at a Dauphin County shopping center.

A new Lidle discount grocery store will soon be opening its doors in Harrisburg at the Paxton Towne Center, located at 5125 Jonestown Road. The new store is going to be situated inside the former home of HH Gregg and will be next door to Target.

According to a representative of Lidl, the new grocery store location will be 32,000 square feet and is expected to create about 25 jobs once it opens.
