German optical electronics group Jenoptik on Wednesday posted a jump in preliminary revenue for the full year, which was supported by the performance of its advanced photonic solutions division.

The company said the performance was particularly due to a strong demand from the semiconductor equipment industry.

For the full year, the company posted adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of around €210 million ($226 million), higher than last year's €184.1 million.

The corresponding EBITDA margin increased to around 19.7% from 18.8% in the prior year.

Revenue moved up to around €1.07 billion from last year's €0.98 billion.

The company is scheduled to release its annual report on March 27.
