STORY: Switzerland and Germany both trained on Monday (October 12) ahead of their Nations League match slated for Tuesday (October 13).

Switzerland winger Xherdan Shaqiri is back on the squad after testing negative for COVID-19, following a previous positive test.

Switzerland, who were beaten 2-1 at home by Croatia in a friendly, will face the Germans in Cologne.

Shaqiri, who has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool, has been included in the Switzerland squad for the first time since the Nations League finals in June last year.

The 28-year-old said he had been beset by injury and hoped for a return to form as previously seen at Liverpool.
