CHILLICOTHE — Whether it is astrology, palm reading or tarot cards people love to know what their future holds. Those wanting to know what fate has in store for them are in luck as Brooke Kuhner with Typsy Gypsy Tarot, has reading time available.

Kuhner said she has been connected spiritually since childhood but opened her tarot company just two years ago. She is a psychic medium and certified life coach who offers tarot reading, reiki energy healing and general guidance.

She said many people who first come to her seem to have the idea that tarot reading is evil or brings negative energy, but she said it is the reader who sets the tone. While some readers work in the dark she focuses on the light and bringing peace through her work.

"The tarot reader sets the tones and intentions," said Kuhner. "My ultimate goal is to make sure people have that hope."

Even when dealing with darker subjects, like grief and loss, she tries to help people find the path to overcome those struggles. She does this by working with a person's spirit guides. She said oftentimes these guides are predetermined at birth for a person but they can also be loved ones who have passed on.

Clients are always free to ask questions about certain topics in life, such as love or their career, but she finds that if they think about what they want to know before the visit the spirits naturally talk about those subjects. She also looks into the future of a client to tell them what may be coming towards them. Some things are free-will events that may or may not happen and others are set in stone and can't be avoided. Kuhner tries to guide each person toward their best future while preparing them for the things that can't be avoided.

Kuhner also said it is best to come into an appointment with an open mind as it helps her work with the spirit guides more easily, but even those who don't fully believe in what she does will have a spirit guide who talks and lets her know what is going on.

To book an appointment with Typsy Gypsy Tarot you can visit them online. Kuhner is available for virtual and face-to-face readings with her shop being located inside TruthSeekers at 13 E. 2nd Street in Chillicothe. You can also see her on Facebook and TikTok.
