Gettysburg battle reenactment is set for this weekend

The Patriots of the Civil War Association will present “Gettysburg Acts of Valor,” a three-day reenactment beginning Friday, June 23 until June 25 to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.

This year’s 160th anniversary reenactment will include infantry, artillery and cavalry tacticals each day of theevent. Presentations, author book signing, sutlers and food vendors will also be participating.

PCWA is a nonprofit organization that was formed out of a passion for the American Civil War and its richhistory. Their goal is to raise money for the purpose of saving endangered battlefield lands around the country.

Ticket prices vary from $30 to $65 and are available for purchase on the PCWA website, in addition to a schedule of events and information regarding the three-day event.
