WHY IT EARNED THE GH SEAL

Produced with only the most responsible poultry-raising practices, Aldi’s Never Any! whole chicken met our Nutrition Lab’s rigorous evaluation standards.

  1. ANTIBIOTIC- AND HORMONE-FREE Federal law bans hormone use in poultry. Never Any!’s standards are stricter: Its chickens are also raised without antibiotics — one potentially helpful way to limit exposure to unneeded meds.

  2. PROTEIN-RICH With at least 21 g of protein per 4-oz serving, it’s super-satisfying: Cook one at the beginning of the week so it’ll be ready to use in sandwiches, on top of salads and stir-fries, or as a nutrient-packed snack.

  3. HEART HEALTH The American Heart Association recommends poultry over red and processed meats, which are often higher in saturated fat and sodium. Aim to swap in chicken for these at least twice a week.
