Ghosts star Jim Howick's BBC comedy series Here We Go has lined up its series two guest stars.

The sitcom from Fresh Meat and Plebs writer Tom Basden will launch its second series on BBC One next month, with Howick and co-stars Katherine Parkinson (Doc Martin) and Alison Steadman (Gavin and Stacey) all returning.

The trio will be joined by a star-studded group of guest stars, including Howick's former Ghosts co-star Simon Farnaby and The Windsors' Harry Enfield.

Other guest stars for the second series of Here We Go include Basden's former Fresh Meat star Sophie Wu, And Just Like That…'s Dolly Wells and Andrew Brooke (The Salisbury Poisonings).

"I’m thrilled that such hilarious and legendary guest stars will be joining us for more Jessop family chaos," Basden said.

Josh Cole, the BBC's Head of Comedy, added: "The second series of Here We Go is full of laugh-out-loud moments, whipsmart writing and a brilliant ensemble – this time accompanied by shockingly funny guest stars."

The second series continues the trials and tribulations of the Jessop family of Bedford, whose lives are relentlessly recorded by teenage son Sam on his handheld camera.

Following a recent Christmas special, the show will continue to poke fun at the modern British family as each member tries – and often fails hilariously – just to do their best every day.

Alongside these new guest stars and returning cast, Here We Go will also welcome back Freya Parks and Jude Collie as the Jessop family children.

Here We Go kicks off its second series on Friday, February 2 at 8.30pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer. Viewers can catch up on the previous series on BBC iPlayer.
