New ghost tour will visit downtown Milwaukee's most haunted sites

A new walking tour in Milwaukee has begun for fans of the supernatural.
These new recently launched tours visit downtown Milwaukee locations known to be places where people have said they've felt the presence of a ghost.
U.S. Ghost Adventures is expanding its ghost tours to Milwaukee as one of 12 new destinations in 2023.
The tour starts at the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 N. Water St., at 8 p.m. and will take people to a number of locations within a 1-mile radius.
Lance Zaal, president and founder of U.S. Ghost Adventures, said he prefers to not share every location but some sites include Riverside Theater, the Riverwalk, Pabst Theater, City Hall and a couple hotels.
The Pabst Theater, 144 E. Wells St., was part of a 2017 documentary where paranormal investigators look into supernatural activity at the theater built in the 1800s.
It is said that Milwaukee's Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave., is haunted by the hotel's namesake, Charles Pfister, a wealthy banker and former chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party who envisioned a lavish hotel in downtown Milwaukee.
Pfister is said to haunt visiting baseball players, who often stay at the hotel while in town to play the Brewers. As many as 13 MLB players from 2001 to 2018 have said they've felt uneasy or experienced a haunting inside the hotel.
Both the Pabst and the Pfister are included in the walking tour, Zaal said.
It costs $25 for adults and $16 for children under 13. You can also rent an electromagnetic field detector for $7.
