GIADA Lands in Boston
On a beautiful Thursday evening, Boston’s elite came out to celebrate with Vogue and host, Ashley Bernon, to toast the grand opening of Italian brand, GIADA's first U.S. store on American soil. After a ceremonial ribbon cutting, complete with oversized golden scissors, guests mingled among the luxurious fashions, and enjoyed champagne while listening to the beats of DJ It-Girls, Mia Moretti and Margot, The Dolls. And even though most of us are putting away our coats and looking to Spring styles, everyone was enchanted by the presentation given by Gabriele Colangelo, GIADA’s creative director of the most recent Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Full of soft wools and even softer Italian leathers in muted and monochromatic tones and clean, minimalistic lines, it almost makes us want to skip summer to embrace the best pieces for the fall season.
New Yorkers will have to patiently await GIADA’s Manhattan debut, but Boston’s notable guests included Vogue’s Ivan Shaw, Stylist, Lisa Von Weise, Chelsea Roy, Maria Albini of Blonde Meets City, Boston Red Carpet host, Tonya Mezrich, and athlete and influencer, Aly Raymer.
