Giants’ Golden Tate is ‘day-to-day’ after Monday injury

New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate came up lame while reaching out for a Daniel Jones pass during one-on-one drills against Dravon Askew-Henry on Monday and subsequently left practice.

Tate’s injury appeared to be to his right hamstring, but head coach Joe Judge would not confirm that.

However, in a rare moment of discussing injuries, Judge did acknowledge that Tate is currently considered “day-to-day” and will not participate on Tuesday.

The coach does not believe Tate’s injury is serious.

On the plus side of the injury news, Judge said inside linebacker Blake Martinez, defensive tackle R.J. McIntosh and safety Montre Hartage will each return to the field on Tuesday. All three players had exited Monday’s practice after suffering injuries of their own.
