Morning, Gig Harbor! Let's get you all caught up to start this Wednesday off on an informed note.

For today's digest, I have a couple of interesting local stories for you. For one, the City of Gig Harbor is seeking applicants to become the next member of the Gig Harbor City Council. The council needs someone to fill position 4 since the previous councilmember, Tracie Markley, has now been sworn in as mayor.

Other stories today include a forecast, which includes yet another chance for snow, and an update from the Pierce County Council, who just selected Gig Harbor's own Derek Young to be council chair for another year.
