Gillette Stadium to open new on-field beer hall just in time for Patriots season

Fans at Gillette Stadium will soon be able to get closer to the players than ever, once the stadium’s new on-field beer hall opens in September.

Celebration Beer Hall will be located underneath sections 101 and 102, adjacent to the endzone lighthouse, and will allow fans a view of the players as they walk from the locker room onto the field.

The space, a partnership between Kraft Sports + Entertainment and Anheuser-Busch, will feature a 4,000-square-foot indoor beer hall and a 2,000-foot outdoor patio. A 375-square-foot oval bar will occupy the middle of the hall.

Ticketholders will be able to spend their entire game day in the space, both before kickoff and after the final whistle.

Memberships for the beer hall can be purchased for Patriots games on a season-long basis and on a game-by-game basis for the Revolution.

When the Patriots or Revolution aren’t playing, guests can still rent out the area for gatherings of between 200 and 300 people.

“Bud Light, a truly iconic experiential brand, has been a long-standing and valued sponsor of ours,” said Murray Kohl, vice president of sales, New England Patriots. “Their vision for Celebration Beer Hall was evident from the beginning and we know they are perfectly positioned to create the quintessential ‘want-to-be’ gathering place on gameday and non-gamedays alike.”

The hall is set to open in September. The Patriots open their season against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 10, a game they’re dubbing the “Thank You Tom Game.”
