Gilroy Offers Rental Assistance Program Amid Coronavirus
GILROY, CA — The City of Gilroy has partnered with the St. Joseph’s Family Center to provide a rental assistance program.
The Community Development Block Grant CARES Act funding will help very-low income tenants pay a portion of their rents to avoid eviction.
This program was developed in response to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Statewide Covid-19 Tenant and Landlord Protection Legislation in an effort to protect the most vulnerable tenants.
