A stalled front will be responsible for periodic showers and thunderstorms today. With northeast winds, we will be cooler. Highs will only be in the lower to mid 70s. Tonight we will drop off into the upper 50s with a light northwest wind. A few showers are possible Thursday is a little warmer with highs in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will turn out of the southwest by the afternoon. The heat and humidity is back Friday. Highs are in the upper 80s to lower 90s. This weekend, there’s a risk of round of showers and thunderstorms. Depending on what time these storms move in, (i.e morning or evening) will make a big impact on how hot we get. If we get into a good amount of sunshine during the afternoon, expect lower 90s. But if the cloud cover sticks around, it will be cooler, likely in the mid to upper 80s. Temperatures fall off into the upper 70s and lower 80s for the beginning of next weeks work week.
