Girl With Rare Disease Dies From COVID Complications

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 13-year-old girl has died from complications of a coronavirus infection, according to a tweet from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.

The child also had Kabuki syndrome, a rare disease and end stage renal disease and a liver transplant in 2017, the medical examiner's office said.

The child was given a Pfizer vaccine in June and July 2021, according to the medical examiner's office.

The medical examiner's office said the girl died on Monday.
