Girl Scout Cookie prices are up in some states, but not Arizona
Girl Scout Cookies have increased their prices across the country but will stay the same in Arizona.
The Girl Scout councils in Iowa, Illinois, and Massachusetts are states that have raised their prices from $5 to $6 citing rising manufacturer costs, according to recent news releases.
Prices for cookie manufacturing will rise by 10% between 2023 and 2024, according to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
Arizona, however, will remain unaffected by the rising costs, according to Girl Scouts of Arizona Cactus-Pine Communications Director Felicia Thompson.
A box of Girl Scout Cookies in Arizona costs $5, except for the Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores, which are $6, with proceeds benefiting the organization after costs from the manufacturer are covered.

"When you purchase Girl Scout Cookies you are getting more than a sweet treat," Thompson said. "All the proceeds stay local to help power amazing experiences for Girl Scouts in your community."
The next Girl Scout Cookie season starts on Jan. 15, 2024.
