Girl Scout cookie season has begun with a new flavor. Here’s how to order yours

The Girl Scouts of Western Washington have officially begun their 2023 Girl Scout cookie season, with online digital sales and in-person booth sales set to arrive in the coming months. A new Girl Scout cookie has been added to the roster of available treat options, and most cookies have increased prices compared to previous years.

When are cookies available?

As of Jan. 13, family and friends of a Girl Scout can begin to pre-order cookies. The rest of the public can begin to order cookies online Feb. 17, which will be delivered directly to their doorstep in person by a Girl Scout. And starting Feb. 27, anyone can place a digital order that is shipped to a preferred mailing address. The last day you can place an order for an in-person delivery from a Girl Scout is March 13.

Girl Scouts will start setting up booths at business establishments and organization-partnered locations March 3. In-person sales will continue for a few weeks until concluding March 19.

Where can I find a booth?

Those looking to purchase boxes of treats in person can use the Girl Scouts’ online Cookie Finder tool to locate booths close to them. The portal lists the time, date and business address booths will be open to the public.

How much are cookies?

The cost of core cookies has increased $1 per package to $6, while specialty cookies like Girl Scout S’mores and Toffee-tastics remain at $6 a box. The organization states it made these price changes to “keep up with economic price increases, balance our budget, and continue to serve youth and volunteers in all areas of our council.”

New cookie flavor

A new cookie, Raspberry Rally, is also being added to the Girl Scouts’ roster of sweets. The youth organization describes the cookie as a sister companion to Thin Mints in appearance adding that it’s a “thin, crispy, cookie infused with raspberry flavor, dipped in a delicious chocolaty coating.” It will be available through online shipments only.

The newest cookie addition will be sold exclusively through online orders shipped directly to customers. According to the organization, the decision to make the flavor online-only “encourages Girl Scouts to learn entrepreneurship through their own online business by building relevant digital marketing and sales skills.”
