Girl Scout Cookies to arrive in Muncie Sunday

MUNCIE, Ind. − The wait is almost over. Girl Scout Cookies are headed to Central Indiana this weekend with a truckload arriving at Walmart South on Sunday.

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana officials will be on hand at the store, located at 1501 E. 29th St., where a semi will be unloading the cookie cargo. Cookie moms and their helpers will be counting and distributing boxes of the confections as nearly 42,000 packages will be delivered to local troop leaders.

Girl Scouts will begin delivering pre-ordered cookies as soon as they receive them, a press release from the Girl Scouts said.
