Girl Scouts of Central Indiana launches 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season

Jan. 25—INDIANAPOLIS — Girl Scouts of Central Indiana have kicked off the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season in 45 Central Indiana counties, officially launching sales for the only snack that also provides leadership experiences for Hoosier girls.

Each box of their cookies supports the future of Girl Scouts, from service projects and troop travel to summer camp and STEM learning opportunities.

This season, cookie lovers can enjoy the full assortment of Girl Scout Cookies including fan favorites such as Thin Mints®, Samoas® and more!

This year's theme, Unbox the Future, aims to remove social barriers that often keep girls boxed in.

According to the Girl Scouts' website, when Girl Scouts sell a package of cookies they're doing much more than what's seen at face value. Girl Scouts are entrepreneurial powerhouses creating a more equitable future for themselves and the world.

Nearly 15,500 girls in Central Indiana participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which provides girl-led entrepreneurial skills that build courage, confidence and character. As a result, girls obtain limitless barrier-breaking futures outside the box with transferable life skills.

Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards to develop valuable business skills including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins and Entrepreneur badges.

How to purchase cookies this year:

Girls will sell and take orders in person, and they can receive cookie orders via an online platform called Digital Cookie® to personally deliver cookies to their local customers.

Consumers can also use the Cookie Finder to locate a booth near them and purchase cookies in-person from girls at cookie booths beginning Feb. 2.
