Girls Aloud 2024 reunion tour: How to get tickets

As the thrill of an upcoming Girls Aloud reunion tour takes hold, here's how to get your mitts on some tickets.

The band - made up of Nicola Roberts, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh - announced 15 arena shows spread across the UK during May and June 2024. Major cities on the list include Nottingham, Dublin, Cardiff, London and Belfast.

Their reunion follows the sad death of bandmate Sarah Harding who died aged 39 two years ago after a lengthy battle with cancer.

In a statement, Cheryl said of the reunion: "We all started talking about the possibility of doing something to celebrate Girls Aloud's 20-year anniversary a few years ago. The anniversary seemed like an obvious thing that we would celebrate. But when Sarah fell ill all priorities changed.

"She passed away a year before the anniversary and it just didn't feel right, it felt too soon. But now, I think there is an energy that does makes it feel right. It's the right time to celebrate Sarah, it's the right time to celebrate the band and the right time to celebrate the fact we can still do this 21 years later."

Presale for all performances begins Wednesday, 29 November at 9am via Ticketmaster.

For those music lovers targeting the general sale for the Newcastle and Aberdeen shows, that'll go ahead on Thursday, 30 November at 9am, while Belfast and Cardiff's is scheduled for Friday, 1 December.

How are the popstars feeling ahead of the shows?

Walsh told BBC News: "For us, it will feel very much like [Harding is] there. She came alive on stage. That was the happiest she ever was. With grief, there's definitely a shift where it's like, OK, you're ready to celebrate that person."

"It's horrible that we're in this situation," added Roberts, who won The Masked Singer UK in 2020. "It's not easy for us to sit and explain how we feel. It's not going to be easy for us to put a show together with four people, instead of five."

In the same interview, Coyle went on to suggest that some of Harding's original vocals will be incorporated into the songs.

"There's so many things that are just iconically Sarah, that have to remain Sarah. We're not going to mess with that. I'm not going to start taking over Sarah's big bits. Girls Aloud wouldn't be what it was without Sarah and everything she added to it."
