Girls basketball: 2022 Bergen County Tournament bracket, scores, schedule
The Bergen County Women Coaches Association selected its 47th annual tournament on Monday, Jan. 24, using a pool-play format for the first time.
The top teams in each of the four pools include five-time reigning champion Saddle River Day, unbeaten Ramapo and River Dell squads and perennial contender Immaculate Heart Academy.
Each team will have three games in round-robin play, and the teams with the two best records in each pool will advance to knockout play, which will begin with a quarterfinal round.
This file will be updated all tournament long with scores and future schedules. All schedules are subject to change.

MAHWAH 40, PARK RIDGE 33 (2OT): Sophomore Marissa LaVerghetta made the layup to tie things at 30 with 4.5 seconds left in regulation, then added the go-ahead basket in the second overtime for the Thunderbirds (18-6), who notched their eighth consecutive win. Mahwah ended the game on a 7-0 run and featured different leaders in points (Cayla Menicola, 16), rebounds (Carissa Weber, 11) and steals (Olivia Centrelli, 5).
Senior Ella Madden had 12 points – including the bucket to tie it at 33 near the end of the first OT – and 18 rebounds for the Owls (23-3), whose 19-game win streak drew to an close.
