Girls basketball roundup: CCS rolls past Cambridge Christian, 66-15

Dec. 17—CAMBRIDGE — The Community Christian School girls basketball team cruised past Cambridge Christian, 66-15 in a Christian Athletic League game on Friday night.

Gabbie Bollig had 20 points and four steals and Sophia Bollig added 10 points, 18 rebounds and six steals in Community Christian School's victory at Cambridge.

The Eagles' Margo Klaassen added 10 points and eight assists in the Christian Athletic League game.

CCS is off during the Christmas break. The Eagles play Immanuel Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3 at CCS in Willmar.

The Paynesville girls basketball team improved to 2-4 with a victory over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted in Howard Lake.

The Bulldogs have now won two in a row after starting the season 0-4. They beat Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 53-47 on Dec. 9.

Paynesville hits the road for a 7 p.m. game Tuesday against Minnewaska in Glenwood.
