MORRICE — The Shamrocks helped decorated coach Al Schrauben reach another big milestone in their nonleague triumph over Morrice. The victory was the 700th for Schrauben, He became the fourth girls basketball coach in the state to reach 700 wins, according to the Michigan High School Athletic Association's online records, joining Detroit Country Day’s Frank Orlando, Sandusky’s Al DeMott and Bloomfield Hills Marian’s Mary Cicerone..

Laynie Meredith had 12 points, seven steals, six rebounds and four assists to lead a balanced attack for Portland St. Patrick (7-5). Natalie Teachworth added 11 points and five steals, while Rylee Scheurer and Gracelyn Rockey each had 10 points for the Shamrocks. Morrice (8-3) had its three-game win streak halted.

DANSVILLE 38, BATH 28

BATH -- Megan Zeitz notched a game-high 21 points and snagged seven steals to propel the Division 3 top-ranked Aggies to a CMAC win over Bath. Kourtney Mack tallied nine points and Elizabeth Carpenter added on six points for Dansville (11-1, 7-0). Anna Schaibly picked up a team-high 10 points and Aubrie Schaibly scored six points for the Bees (4-8, 2-4).

LANSING CHRISTIAN 49, BATTLE CREEK CALHOUN CHRISTIAN 11

Led by Sophia Hazelton's 16 points, the Pilgrims picked up a home nonleague win. Lydia Brogan added nine points for Lansing Christian (5-8).
